POLICY: Northland Counseling Services is committed to fulfilling the mission of service to the community. In keeping with this mission, Northland Counseling Services has initiated a program intended to enhance the mental health status of the communities it serves and to meet particular needs of uninsured/private pay individuals.
The ability to pay will be judged by applying income guidelines. Clients who fall within the guidelines will be assigned the appropriate level of adjustment. Adjustments may be applied to all bills and co-payments.
PROCEDURE: Sliding fee scale information and applications will be furnished upon request. Applications and proof of income must be returned by the second scheduled appointment.
The client will be notified of their eligibility. Initial fees are set at the standard service rates until sliding fee scale applications are processed. Adjustments will be credited to client accounts or refunded upon request. Clients are expected to pay for services at the time of each visit. Please be prepared to give you counselor payment at the beginning of each session. If special arrangements are needed, please be sure to address them with your counselor.
RATES – EFFECTIVE November 1, 2011
Individual Counseling: $60.00 – $40.00
Group Counseling: $35.00 – $25.00
Family/Couples Counseling: $70.00 – $50.00
Home-Based Counseling: $90.00 – $60.00
